As we kick off 2025, the board would like to send out many thanks to each of you for a wonderful 2024 season and share that we can’t wait to kick off 2025 with you! Spring can’t come soon enough so we can get out on the course again!
With the new year comes our annual meeting to review our finances with our accountant, Eric Miller and Merriwether Wilson & Company. We have scheduled this meeting for Monday, January 20th at 6:30pm at the Elks Lodge located at 2823 Willis Ave, Perry. We hope you are able to join.
Over the next few weeks, membership letters will arrive in your mailbox. As with everything else, our operating expenses (i.e. chemicals/fertilizer for the course, chemicals for the pool, fuel for equipment, etc.) continue to increase. Due to the rising expenses, the board has made the difficult decision to increase the member cost to help offset the increases. We want to keep the cost of a membership low, and our expenses continue to increase. The board feels this is a good balance of the two. Additionally, our memberships are comparable to other courses in our area.
